Add-ons for PV module mounting systems are a key element in ensuring proper installation and efficient operation of the solar system.
The system offers the possibility of installing large modules guaranteeing that they will withstand snow and wind loads even in harsh areas allowing the warranty to be maintained.
Installation of the system remains quick and easy thanks to the addition of only the
central ballast with brackets compared to the traditional system ensuring low cost and offers the possibility of installing traditional accessories (bracing, collars…)
The bracket, made of AISI304 stainless steel ensures quick and easy assembly
thanks to the anti-rotation flap and offers the possibility of installing the M8 cage nut thanks to which the installation of the clamp is made possible
AISI 304 Sp. 5mm/ 3mm
Presence of anti-rotation flap.
Presence of two holes ⌀ 8.3 for fixing.
The slot has the ability to accommodate M8 cage nut for attachment of accessories. Wide range of adjustment due to buttonhole.
The second use of the system is tocouple two side ballasts (6a, 6b, 6c , 6d) to increase the stabilizing load in areas with high wind load.
The bracket (1) is attached to the two ballasts by two bolts (7a , 7b) that mate with the two respective bushings on the back surface (8) of the ballast.
A third use is allowed by mounting an optimizer (10).
Two different types of bracket mounting can be performed (fig.1);
The first, placing the bracket on the rear vertical surface of the ballast
By bolted coupling with the bushing (11).
The second figure, on the other hand, involves mounting the bracket on the rear sloping surface, of the ballast.
Mounting the bracket with optimization also achieves (fig3) the use of rear bracing.
A fourth functionality is the joining of two ballasts to form a sail.
In this case, the bracket is attached to the upper incl ined surface ( 12a ) of the front ballast (12) and the lower inclined surface (13b) of the rear ballast (13).
The bracket is fastened using bolts and clamps (14) in the respective bushings on the inclined surfaces of the two ballasts.
Theprotruding end (1d) of the bracket mates with the groove (12b) on the front ballast.
The frames of two adjacent panels (15, 16) rest directly on the bracket.
It is a module support system that is used on GB30 ballasts.
Strengths:
∙ speed of installation
∙ no use of clamps
∙ Supporting the module directly to the panel frame.
The system offers the possibility of installing large modules, guaranteeing that they will withstand snow and wind loads even in severe areas
Allowing the warranty to be maintained.
